Description: How do we teach students Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM) and Risk Management?Aeronautical Decision Making is a systematic approach to the mental process used by pilots to consistently determine the best course of action in response to a given set of circumstances. In other words, it is a systematic approach to risk assessment and stress management. Sounds easy, right? At this FAASTeam Flight Instructor Open Forum we will explore ADM and how you can teach it to your students to assess risk and manage stress. Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and all pilots (including students) are welcome and encouraged to attend. Join your flight instructor colleagues and take an active role in improving safety in flight training!
